Windmill Run and Scenic Brook Easter Egg Hunt

We all had such a great time at this year’s Egg Hunt! Here are some pictures of the fire truck visit. We hope to make this a yearly visit from our Austin Fire Department!

Join us on Saturday April 8 at 11:30 am at Windmill Run Park (8100 Kirkham Dr)

UPDATE: We will have a visit from a Fire Truck at the event! Tell your friends!

This is always a well attended and really fun event! We separate the park into different hunt zones for kids of all ages to have a great time hunting! For every child who wishes to participate, please bring 1 dozen filled plastic eggs with the candy or tiny toy of your choice. We will collect these at a picnic table near the entry of the park. When it’s time to hunt, we will have lots of volunteers “hide” the eggs, depending on the age range for the designated area. We usually divide into the following age groups: 0-2, 3-6, and 7+.

Before and after the hunt we will have a pot luck style lunch, so bring your favorite items to share: casseroles, snacks, dips, desserts, drinks, etc. We will have lots of plates, utensils, napkins, and cups for easy sharing. But if your item requires serving ware, please be sure to bring that with you.

We are looking forward to a wonderful celebration of Spring with our neighbors. Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t live in Scenic Brook or Windmill Run, so share with your family and friends!
